Time flies when you're having fun!

I can't believe how far behind on this blgo I got.....just nothing I could do about it I guess!  Don't worry though-- I have still been taking ridiculous amounts of pictures over the last 5 months!! ;)

So, in a nutshell, things haven't changed too much!  Boys are doing great at Daycare/preschool 3 days a week-- and they are the hit of the school! They have lots of little friends, and all the teachers love them!  Whenever we leave, they say goodbye to every single person we pass...it's like "ok!  We are now leaving!  You all can continue your loves!"...it's pretty funny.

Both are talking really well!  Except, once and while, Noah will studder a bit at the beginning of a sentence...but it is just when he is excited, and I can tell he is just trying to say something that he isn't sure how to say yet.  Not really worried.  Mason is so cute with the way he talks!  He always asks these confirming type questions with a little hitch in his voice at the end, "you wearing orange mama?"  "You making coffee?"  "Mommy you a princess?"  They both also LOVE stalling...and will tell me, "1 more minute mama...."

They have really become a lot of fun-- wrestling each other, playing together, sharing (fighting...), and helping each other!  sometimes they really love being together and want to play "Noah-- come play with me!", and sometimes they want nothing to do with each other!  True siblings I guess!

Meal times are still a challenge with Mason.  Ugh.  Noah pretty much eats anything (loves Salsa, spaghetti, all kinds of stuff!)-- always tried our food too!  Mason still just loves sandwiches, and Mac and cheese, and fruit and waffles.  He will eat veggies and stuff when I really make him-- but he just doesn't like anything that looks "mixed" or anything different.  It's pretty frustrating!!

They are still int heir Cribs...but they have both officially climbed out of them (well, Mason just pretty much falls)...even though they don't do it on a regular basis.  I think I will transfer them to their toddler beds pretty soon.....as that is needed to move on to the other looming milestone that is ready...Potty training.

I'm pretty sure we missed the boat with Potty training a few months back....they were both really into it, and actually went poop, etc in the potty...got them big boy underwear (Thomas and Cars)....but I just didn't give it the Full "push".  Now, they totally understand it, but just not interested in ti anymore, and they knpow we will change them...so they just pee on the floor and then show me where they peed ;)  So, we will give this a serious go pretty soon as well.  Fun stuff.  Not.

As far as Anthony and I, we have been super busy ourselves!  Anthony is doing great with getting his Masters Degree through DU, all while working full time and being a daddy too!  Super proud of him!  I think that after this quarter of doing 2 classes though....he will just being doing one next quarter!  I have been blessedly very busy with my Photography business....especially in the last couple months (wedding season!)!  I have made some incredible connections and partners/friends in the industry...and I am really finding my true calling and interest with where I really want to take my business.  I am so lucky to get to do what I love for a living-- and I am thankful everyday for it! ;)  (Although there have been some weekends lately when I have a double or Triple (!!!???) header wedding weekend...and Anthony gets a bit lonely and tired! ;)  Thankfully we have AMAZING family and parents that always help us with the boys when needed....THANK YOU!!!!

We celebrated our 7th anniversary on august 7th-- and that Sunday we went on a date night in boulder and then saw one of our favorite artists, Gregory Alan Isakov, play at the Boulder theater!  It was great!!

Some new things the boys are into:
The Lion King, CARS!!!!! (their new favorite toys and movies! "Lightning 'Queen!"), putting chairs together and making "trains", they fill buckets full of toys and then say "Bye mama-- I'm going to work!", Singing (it is so cute-- they have all these songs from daycare...but they really love singing Hakuna Matata from Lion King), Swimming (Mason is a FISH!!  He goes underwater and jumps off the side of the pool etc.), Fishing, and playing in the garden and picking fruit and veggies! They love to play Optimus Prime and Megatron and Bumblebee-- where we all pretend tot be transformers fighting! They still have their blankies and babies and love to go to the mountains, throw rocks in the river, and just RUN at the park!  They are getting big enough now to play on a lot more playground equipment by themselves-- which is AWESOME!

We have done a few fun outings lately-- went to Salida to have a family weekend with all my side of the family!  It was great seeing Devin's family!  I can't believe my niece is 5 and nephew is 7!!  Time flies so fast!

This past weekend we went camping (just the 4 of us) at Dowdy Lake at Red Feather Lakes....and it was so great!  Actually, it was a bit rough because the boys didn't nap the 1st day...and Noah wasn't feeling good...so he was pretty darn fussy!  Even with that though-- it was just so great to get out into the Mountains and camp, and be at a place I haven't been to in so long-- I now remember why I loved it-- it is so peaceful and beautiful!

We have had a great summer-- and look forward to the Fall and the boys turning 3!!  I can't believe it!!

As usual, here are a bizillion photos from the last few months....hope everyone is doing well!

SO....actually, these are just pics through June....I will post a few from our specific trips in July and August on a post after this!  Just too many!  (I have a problem....)
