November Wrap up!

Well, I am feeling really bad about November b/c I am not sure where to start in summing up what new things the boys have learned! For one, this is because I had a little Calendar for them their whole 1st year, so I could jot things down....but I haven't gotten a new one yet-- so November is kinda lost in terms of marking milestones.

As we venture into December though....the boys sure are becoming cool little dudes! It is amazing how once they hit a year old-- they started really doing more "grown up" things!
Noah is all over the place walking, and starting to learn to run a bit! It breaks my heart now when he is having a temper tantrum because he just follows me around the house with his hands int he air crying!! It makes it harder to resist when they can follow you around! Mason has made huge strides in the last month and a half! He is speed crawling everywhere--and cruising along furniture-- and learning how to stand up on his own now! He really wants to walk-- so I think by the end of December he will either be taking a few steps, or at least getting there! He has started to push around his little Garage toy like a walker--it is pretty funny!

I have almost completely stopped breastfeeding them. I still just feed them once at about 5am, so that they go back to sleep until 7!!! We are about to drop this last one this next week though...so I think we will have some early mornings for a while....BOO.
they continue to be excellent eaters! They eat pretty much anything! At this point I am feeding them mostly finger foods-- and just supplement with purees if needed. they have also finally accepted Cows Milk just fine-- but I have them drinking Lactaid because they both are a bit sensitive to large quantities of Dairy I think (gassy, etc.).

The biggest bummer news we have learned is the Mason is highly allergic to PEANUTS. This is a real huge downer-- as it is a life or death allergy. We have to carry an Epi-pen with us everywhere now. Sucky...to say the least. We also found out that they are both a bit allergic to eggs, (nothing major though--and they will mostly likely outgrow soon), and Mason is also pretty allergic to Dogs. We just have to give him a Zyrtec when he is going to be around them though...and he is fine.

Other than that-- they are really jabbering on a lot--really TRYING to talk, you can tell! They do say things like; up, light, hot, all done, mama, dada, that, etc.....Of course this is all "baby talk" though...so not quite enunciated yet! Mason has really found his screaming voice--and he just loves to screech when he is in a good mood! it is pretty cute! They have really started to play with each other more too-- sometimes I will just hear them laughing in the other room--ans I will sneak up to them and watch--it is so cute! They love jumping and rolling all over big cushions on the floor-- and they still love their Zebra, and are really getting into chasing each other through their big tunnel! Both are still addicted to their "babies" too....Noah sucks on the tags of his, and Mason cuddles his to his face! Mason just loves anything soft!! He will drag around big fleece blankets, and will bury his face into large stuffed animals!

I will let the pictures tell more! Happy Holidays everyone!! Be safe!!

Thanksgiving in Windsor-- Anthony's family and Cory and Jen from my family!
These are the 4 great-grandchildren in the Lopez family!

As usual, Mason loved his Zebra! It was a beautiful Day!!!

Trying to get out the doggie door!

We had a "friends" Thanksgiving the weekend before...it was great seeing our friends and hanging out!
The gals! It was nice to have all 4 of us together!
Noah helping Alex with the dishes

When Mason had his gnarly Viral infection.......
This is what his whole body looked like!!

"Mason frustrated....."

Awww...they were playing and laughing at each other!
They LOVE being pushed around in the laundry basket!

He knows he is cute.......
He is trying to feed me; it is his new thing....

uh-oh. We will eventually get our stupid office done so we can have our house back!!

I took this picture right as he woke up....look at how he was sleeping...and then look at how Noah is at his crib screaming and pulling on the crib bars! He hates when Mason is asleep and he is not!

They are obsessed with the strings from the blinds.....ugh....always ends in them crying when I pull them away!

Learning to swiffer!!

Those damn tags! ;) I had to buy him a second blankie baby just like the one he has so that I can switch them out and wash them!!

October Wrap-up!

Well, since our last post--- the boys sure have been changing! It is crazy what only a couple weeks does!

Noah is now Walking! For a long time he has been taking 5-6 steps-- but he now stands up out of nowhere, and walks form room to room! He will still crawl too-- but he is on the move for sure!
We recently have thought that he may have a bit of a dairy intolerance-- been really gassy and uncomfortable-- so we have him trying Lactaid milk and have cut out cheese and such. Nothing we are not used to anyway (with Anthony!). Other than that-- he continues to be such a happy little guy and is jabbering up a storm as well! Oh-- he is still absolutely obsessed with the Tags on his little blankie baby-- so much so that I had to buy another one so that I could wash the one he was chewing on--it was brown and disgusting!!

Mason is Crawling!!! yay!! He has really just completely become a different little boy lately! He is crawling now, stands up in his crib and other places, he is really talking and pointing at everything that he wants, etc. It is so cool! He still gets frustrated sometimes-- but he is really catching up. As far as food-- he has become a bit picky lately.....just age I suppose. He did break out in some hives one day after I gave him some peanut butter-- so we are staying away form that for a while! We are also wondering if he has a touch of seasonal allergies as well....was really "allergy-ish" lat weekend, and got a few hives up in Windsor. Who knows....just keep our eye on it I guess.

All in all-- they are growing fast! They are both still pretty small for there age (Noah only in 3rd percentile, and Mason about the 25th), but the doctor says they are really healthy and growing perfectly! So, that is what I go by!

We didn't do much for Halloween, I thought next year will really be the 1st fun year for them! My mom and I took a crazy trip to Phoenix last week though, so the boys could see their great grandma and grandpa and family down there. The boys did well-- but no sleeping on the plane this time!! They were sooooo hyper!!! Noah even got out of my arms and took off down the Plane aisle! It was madness.....but we survived.

Until next month!
