February wrap up!

I am doing a mad-dash to FINALLY wrap up my Photography Business website.....so I am going to be a bit lazy with this post......;)

Things haven't changed too much over the last month. Mason is still being stubborn and not walking....even though he CAN! Oh well-- he'll do it in his own time!
We have been home-bound quite a bit with so much annoying Wind! WE also had no power one night and had to go through all the fun times that that entails! Made me truly appreciate Xcel though....and scared me how much we depend on power and electricity......

Anthony and I had our 1st Weekend off! I drove the boys up to Windsor (grandparents) on Friday, and then we went out to Sushi dinner that night, and then got up early and went Skiing with friends up in Beaver Creek! Then we stayed the night at a cute little hotel in Edwards, and slowly made our way home on Sunday! We actually had a few hours at home alone before the boys came back too!! What a treat! I missed them like crazy though.....
I kept seeing all the cute little toddlers on the Ski hill-- and said, "I can't wait to take the boys skiing! Wait....nope.......Noah will never go skiing...he will kill himself!". For elaboration on that...Noah has absolutely no fear of anything...and I am terrified for Teenage years.

The boys are doing great overall! They are really starting to "talk" a lot-- having little conversations and looking right at us and talking jibberish! They understand absolutely EVERYTHING. They are really good at Animal sounds when you ask them, and can say a few more things---"cold", "down", "all done", etc.......although, everything is "arff" right now...they are obsessed with dogs. Noah thinks that the squirrels are dogs! One night at dinner Noah was barking out the window and I was telling him that there were no dogs out there...and I looked up to see 6 DEER in our backyard!!! crazy!!!

Mason is obsessed with balls. Anything that is a ball-- he just goes crazy! He is hilarious when he throws things-- Sometimes it goes straight up in the air-- and he bounces on his knees and shakes his head really fast like a horse or something!
Noah learned how to Dance really cute--- like a little Irish dancer--- and he "twirls"-- and Mason dances like Elvis!!

I started letting them watch Cartoons when they wake up int he morning while they have a little "snack" before breakfast. It is probably the cutest thing ever....they just sit together on the couch with their babies and their snacks and watch TV. So cute. They definitely know the TV now though...and Mason has learned how to work the remote...seriously....so I have to hide it! ;)

They really enjoy the Gym daycare place, still love being outside, and at the park, the Children's Museum, building legos, seeing their grandparents and Aunts and Uncles and Cousin Karysa!
They also went to their 1st birthday party this month! A gal at Anthony's work has Twin boys too that were turning 2! I have a feeling they will all be good friends one day!

I joined a Twin Mom support group/club! I should've done it a long time ago....but....well, I didn't. I already met a gal my age that has twin boys a month younger than the boys! We are going to get together soon to play!

Anyway-- I will caption the pics as I go!
I guess I wasn't as lazy as I thought I would be on this post....

Not getting enough attention...so he has to do something "daring"! (above)

They put on their Wolf hats and howl like wolves and throw their head back-- cute!

Bedtime;)

They do this on their own...they get in the rocking chair and Read!! ;)

We went to Red Rocks one afternoon-- it was FREEZING!!

At their 1st bday party!

Climbs on everything...

Seriously...how cute is this!? They got haircuts the next day though! ;)

They (especially Noah) are OBSESSED with the Bubble Machine......

Noah has to be a "big boy", and Walk out the door, instead of Crawl.....

January 2012

I have many thoughts as to how I am going to run this site this year. I am thinking of making it more of a blog for me as a mom-- my rants, raves, what I am doing each day, recipes, AND the Boys updates!! I think of this as really a journal for me-- so it only makes sense! ;) So new format coming soon....
Maybe....
I may just be completely dreaming of the amount of time I actually have......

Anyway-- as far as our family update for the new year-- not too much has changed! Mason STILL refuses to walk-- even though he CAN! He has taken numerous steps numerous times-- he is just being a bit stubborn now-- is is just a very cautious little guy! We had his PT appt on Tuesday-- and he walked all kinds for her! I was so excited-- and she was sure he was off and running now-- but then he started boycotting it again! urgh! Oh well-- in his own time I guess!
On another note for Mason-- I can see his bottom 2 molars coming through...and boy does he let us know!!! The last week or so has been pretty tough. He gets really clingy with me and screams if I don't hold him, and has started waking once and a while at night again, and is waking really early in the morning again! Sometimes doesn't eat well either-- so I think that he gets hungry too. On top of it-- he is quite dramatic in nature anyway ;), so the whole house knows when he isn't feeling good! Poor guy though!

Noah is doing great! He running all around now! He is a serious climber. He can climb baby gates, benches on coffee tables, couches, into drawers, etc.! It's pretty crazy! Keeps me on my toes for sure! He is still our little man-- but as of his last appt, he was in the 25% for height now! whoohoo! Mason was in the 60%th!!

The worst thing that hit us this month was a horrible Flu. Anthony and I got extremely sick (vomit, dizziness, shills, "other-end", etc.) about the same time one night-- just hit us like a ton of bricks. We were sure it was food poisoning b/c we thought we knew exactly what it was about 8 hours earlier. Luckily, Mom and Randy were already int he Denver area-- and drove down to help us with the boys at about 10pm. Randy ended up taking us to the Emergency room b/c we were so sick-- and that is all that is open that time of night! The next day was a blur b/c we were so out of it-- but Anthony's mom and Grandma came down to relieve my parents-- so we really could not have survived that day without the help! Thank you all so much!!!! Turns out though-- later that night, Mason went completely exorcist on us and threww up everywhere!!! It was scary! Noah never ended up throwing up-- but he got the rest of it. Urgh-- so we were a wreck for a few days! Glad it is over to say the least.

I joined back the gym at the end of the month! It has an awesome huge kids play area/daycare, and I have the unlimited access for them-- so I can' take them as much as I want-- and I get time to myself-- and they get to play with other kids, etc.! It is great because I have really been struggling with keeping up with the boys by myself now-- and being able to do things with them with just one of me! They really are not content in a stroller anymore...and they want to explore-- but I can't "let them go" at places for kids (museum, library, parks, etc)-- because I can't keep my eye on both now that they are so mobile (and don't' really listen yet)! So-- I have really been trying to set up more playdates with friends around here, take advantage of when my mom or someone is here (and take the boys somewhere fun I can't do by myself!), and join the gym, and I've been looking into some other "parents day out" programs. Everything is just soooo expensive though!

anyway-- things are just moving right along in life--- always uncertainties, and always excitement! Until next time!
