March Madness

So March was a pretty busy month (as usual I guess!)--- Mason is FINALLY WALKING!!!! Right at the end of the month he finally decided that he would do it as his mode of transport...and not always resort to crawling! He seems to be enjoying it as well! ;) Whew!

The boys now are about done growing all 4 of their molars---- needless to say, this has affected their moods over the last month or so! Next come the Canines....God help us........

We officially have dropped down to one nap a day. Mason had been not napping in the PM, off and on for a while, and it was making bedtime a disaster! Noah was still taking 2 naps ok, but I didn't want them on 2 different schedules....so I just tried it--- and Noah actually seemed to adapt a bit better at 1st! They still have fussy times right around lunch, and before bed--- but that was always the case! Mason will take a 2-3 hour nap (my good sleeper; ), but Noah almost religiously wakes up at 1 hour 45 minutes. Just the way it is for now!

We have done/started a lot of fun things this month too.....here is what has been keeping us busy!
-- Going swimming at the Rec center, going to the Zoo, checking out new parks, having Playdates with new friends Liam and Nolan, seeing lots of family, started going to "Babytime" at the Library on Thursdays, playing in the backyard, and learning new things everyday!

The boys are both really trying to talk up a storm! They have lots of words now (baby words;), and can make a lot of Animal noises, etc. They really understand what you are saying, and are starting to need to be disciplined ;(
They have their typical "terrible 2" behaviors of throwing, saying "no", hitting biting, tantrums, etc....... but they are pretty good boys overall!

Early in the month we lost our very dear Grandma Doris. She adored the boys....and they adored her and going to visit her in Greeley. You will be missed Grandma Doris--- we loved you!!!

I'll let the pictures speak for the rest! Hope you all have a great spring!!

A day at the Zoo! Mason loves it and really gets into the animals-- Noah kinda just relaxes in the stroller! Although Mason got scared of the Giraffes!

We spend lots of time at different Parks!

Seriously hilarious....one with the finger in the mouth, and the other with the finger in the nose!!
When Noah wasn't feeling well.....he usually isn't a big cuddler!
With the nice weather, we've been eating on the back porch a lot!
At the end of the month, Noah really got into his puzzles--- and was able to do them!!

Noah sitting on his Potty for the 1st time!! He has really been showing some signs of Potty training....so I'm told....so I figured I'd just get it out and start putting him on it once and a while to get him used to it. We do it in the AM and at Bedtime. Mason isn't seeming too interested at all (go figure! ;) yet-- but he will sit on it sometimes, and then put his baby in it ;)

Noah likes to lift his shirt off and show off his belly a lot! Little exhibitionist!

Classic Mason.....carrying his baby and trying to get into snacks!!
Mason will stick his baby in his mouth and crawl on things (me!), or to get around so that he can hold about 3 blankets in his hands! ;)

One of his favorite things is to push around his basket of stuffed animals. However, he empties all the animals, and puts certain ones back in, with his baby of course, and then walks around "collecting" things (shoes, water bottles, snacks, etc....) to put in there!

We busted the Hammock seat back out this last weekend, and Noah is OBSESSED with it! He will sit in it and just chill out for like 45 minutes!!! (unlike Noah to "sit" anywhere!) Mason is not really liking it very much though!

Learning how to use the Air compressor with daddy!
We let the boys pretty much just explore the yard now...and not just be on the porch. They are good with the stairs now, we just need to keep an eye still to make sure they don't roll down the hill! Noah will walk down the trail and around the yard by himself now--- our little hiker!! Mason loves it too0-- they especially love to go down and see the neighbor dogs ("arff, arff!")! I still hold Mason's hand-- but he is walking really well down there too!

My little WALKER!!!

Drool and Snot.....it has been a fun time of year! ;)
We spent a weekend up in Windsor when Doris past away--- so the boys got some time with Grandma and grandpa! They helped grandma make Mashed potatoes, and ate a whole bowl of them!! Mason really actually helped....he had to stir them, etc!

Noah learned how to get out the Doggie door.......uh-oh.

Classic Mason "offended/confused" face!
My friend Angela came up with their son Jax--- who is about 6 months younger than the boys-- and they played! Mason and Jax shared snacks....Noah was a bit too busy to eat pretty quickly!

Drinking out of Big Boy cups at restaurants now! (TnT Kitchen, Morrison)
Anthony puts his computer on this photobooth camera...and the boys sit on his lap and take funny pictures! It is SOOOO cute!
Noah got his 1st official Haircut!! We took him to Floyds-- so he was really cool ;) He did pretty good! got restless at the end-- but did well!

My new Haircut!! don't I look cute!!?

Mason loves "dipping" things!

There it is.....baby to the face, and thumb in the mouth!

Mason walking!

I decided to post this video from our trip to the Zoo today! Mason is finally deciding he will give walking a real effort I think!! It is still not his proffered mode of transport....but he is doing it more and more! Yay!!

February wrap up!

I am doing a mad-dash to FINALLY wrap up my Photography Business website.....so I am going to be a bit lazy with this post......;)

Things haven't changed too much over the last month. Mason is still being stubborn and not walking....even though he CAN! Oh well-- he'll do it in his own time!
We have been home-bound quite a bit with so much annoying Wind! WE also had no power one night and had to go through all the fun times that that entails! Made me truly appreciate Xcel though....and scared me how much we depend on power and electricity......

Anthony and I had our 1st Weekend off! I drove the boys up to Windsor (grandparents) on Friday, and then we went out to Sushi dinner that night, and then got up early and went Skiing with friends up in Beaver Creek! Then we stayed the night at a cute little hotel in Edwards, and slowly made our way home on Sunday! We actually had a few hours at home alone before the boys came back too!! What a treat! I missed them like crazy though.....
I kept seeing all the cute little toddlers on the Ski hill-- and said, "I can't wait to take the boys skiing! Wait....nope.......Noah will never go skiing...he will kill himself!". For elaboration on that...Noah has absolutely no fear of anything...and I am terrified for Teenage years.

The boys are doing great overall! They are really starting to "talk" a lot-- having little conversations and looking right at us and talking jibberish! They understand absolutely EVERYTHING. They are really good at Animal sounds when you ask them, and can say a few more things---"cold", "down", "all done", etc.......although, everything is "arff" right now...they are obsessed with dogs. Noah thinks that the squirrels are dogs! One night at dinner Noah was barking out the window and I was telling him that there were no dogs out there...and I looked up to see 6 DEER in our backyard!!! crazy!!!

Mason is obsessed with balls. Anything that is a ball-- he just goes crazy! He is hilarious when he throws things-- Sometimes it goes straight up in the air-- and he bounces on his knees and shakes his head really fast like a horse or something!
Noah learned how to Dance really cute--- like a little Irish dancer--- and he "twirls"-- and Mason dances like Elvis!!

I started letting them watch Cartoons when they wake up int he morning while they have a little "snack" before breakfast. It is probably the cutest thing ever....they just sit together on the couch with their babies and their snacks and watch TV. So cute. They definitely know the TV now though...and Mason has learned how to work the remote...seriously....so I have to hide it! ;)

They really enjoy the Gym daycare place, still love being outside, and at the park, the Children's Museum, building legos, seeing their grandparents and Aunts and Uncles and Cousin Karysa!
They also went to their 1st birthday party this month! A gal at Anthony's work has Twin boys too that were turning 2! I have a feeling they will all be good friends one day!

I joined a Twin Mom support group/club! I should've done it a long time ago....but....well, I didn't. I already met a gal my age that has twin boys a month younger than the boys! We are going to get together soon to play!

Anyway-- I will caption the pics as I go!
I guess I wasn't as lazy as I thought I would be on this post....

Not getting enough attention...so he has to do something "daring"! (above)

They put on their Wolf hats and howl like wolves and throw their head back-- cute!

Bedtime;)

They do this on their own...they get in the rocking chair and Read!! ;)

We went to Red Rocks one afternoon-- it was FREEZING!!

At their 1st bday party!

Climbs on everything...

Seriously...how cute is this!? They got haircuts the next day though! ;)

They (especially Noah) are OBSESSED with the Bubble Machine......

Noah has to be a "big boy", and Walk out the door, instead of Crawl.....
