About a week ago-- the wind here was so terrible--- our neighbors gigantic Pine tree blew over into our Driveway, and missed our Car by about an inch!! (see picture) We didn't even hear it! Again--ready for wind to calm down around here as well!
As for me, I am keeping really busy with Photography shoots-- and hopefully soon I will get my website up so you can all check out what I have been up to! I really love it--and am super excited to be learning more and getting better every time I shoot--and am anticipating being able to market myself and really get out there and make a paying career out of it!
The boys are doing great! Well-- Noah has been a bit more high maintenance as of the last month or so--- and I took him into the doctor a couple weeks ago because he was just so fussy and seemed so uncomfortable, and wouldn't really take a bottle when I wasn't home, and has had some pretty frustrating eating habits (only will nurse for about 5 minutes, then get hungry and grouchy soon after)-- but after talking to the doctor and a lactation consultant--we have all agreed that it is most likely a combination of his style of nursing, his reflux (which is why I was concerned about it...), and teething (the doc said his gums are swollen--and he is a little drooler!), and his stage of development. Poor dude! It is just unnerving for me because his reflux should be really getting better--but it seems to be really bothering him. Thus, he may have some real damage to his esophagus.....urgh. I suspect that he is associating Pain with Eating now--- which sucks. I have decided to start giving him his old medicine that we took them off of (Carafate)--which acts like a Mylanta and coast the esophagus and tummy--so we will see if that helps him at all. We have their 6 month check up in a couple weeks--so we can re-evaluate then as well. (they are 24 weeks old this week!)
Other than that-- they are growing and learning and super cute!! I am not sure of their weights right now because they haven't been weighed since they were 4 months-- but I am guessing Mason is around 16 lbs, and Noah around 15. Not sure though--Mason is just huge next to Noah now! He is really getting to be a big boy!
Latest things they do:
Noah likes to grab onto the washcloth when he nurses, and he drapes it over his face---it is so funny! He also is much more vocal, and is really very good at grabbing objects and such! The other night I put him the highchair for the 1st time--and he also ate a Rice Cracker all by himself (held onto it and fed himself!). He is getting very strong too-- he will literally stand on your lap with just holding onto your hands! He is much less "wobbly" now, and he has sat by himself for a few minutes at a time! Won't be long before he is really independent. I swear he will be crawling soon......
Oh Mason! what a sweet cute little boy he has turned into! He is just Mr. Happy all the time (unless he is hungry or over tired---but it is easy to figure him out!) He has this smile that just lights up his whole face--and he is always showing it off! Man is he still a talker too! He just jabbers on all day-- making the cutest talking noises. Lately he has started to really "screech" it is so funny! He is not quite as strong as Noah I don't think-- but he is doing great with learning to sit, and actually doesn't mind being on his tummy now. They both really like their Rice Cereal too-- but Mason is hilarious-- he thinks it is a game and just laughs his head off and makes spitting noises with it in his mouth. So cute. He really loves Bubbles too!! We give them their cereal, and then while they digest a bit, I blow bubbles for them--and they love it!
They both enjoy the little Walker/exerciser that Grandma Lorrie bought them (I don't have the wheels on them now)--they don't quite touch the ground yet--but they fit in it fine otherwise--and they like it. It is really funny though--they both get really frustrated at the little bears on it--and try really hard to get them! They have also both been in the Johnny Jumper-- but I don't think they are really ready for that yet. They still use their Bouncy Chairs non-stop, and LOVE their Jungle Gym playmat as usual! Dodo got them some cool new toys that make noise, and they really like those too. Darn those toys that make noise---they are annoying after a while--but they boys sure love them!
Overall, we are doing good! Excited for warm weather and some outdoor adventures.
Enjoy the pics and videos!
(these pics are all from over the last month-month and half, so they are actually much bigger now than wheat they look like in some pics)

Mason doing Tummy Time

(Mason is starting to resemble Uncle Devin and Cousin Logan in regards to Head circumference)

We went for a drive in early March--and decided to stop off at a Trailhead so I could nurse the boys, and Daddy took them each on a short walk!

This is Noah just about to do his little Suck on Wrist thing when he gets tired. It is so cute. He just turns his head and sucks on the inside of his wrist.

This is pretty much the way they look all of the time now. Everything goes in the mouth, and pretty sure they are both teething! Drool everywhere!

This is they guys working on the Office in the basement.......still a work in progress. next is the electrical, then Drywall, etc.......Lots of work still!
