Maybe....
I may just be completely dreaming of the amount of time I actually have......
Anyway-- as far as our family update for the new year-- not too much has changed! Mason STILL refuses to walk-- even though he CAN! He has taken numerous steps numerous times-- he is just being a bit stubborn now-- is is just a very cautious little guy! We had his PT appt on Tuesday-- and he walked all kinds for her! I was so excited-- and she was sure he was off and running now-- but then he started boycotting it again! urgh! Oh well-- in his own time I guess!
On another note for Mason-- I can see his bottom 2 molars coming through...and boy does he let us know!!! The last week or so has been pretty tough. He gets really clingy with me and screams if I don't hold him, and has started waking once and a while at night again, and is waking really early in the morning again! Sometimes doesn't eat well either-- so I think that he gets hungry too. On top of it-- he is quite dramatic in nature anyway ;), so the whole house knows when he isn't feeling good! Poor guy though!
Noah is doing great! He running all around now! He is a serious climber. He can climb baby gates, benches on coffee tables, couches, into drawers, etc.! It's pretty crazy! Keeps me on my toes for sure! He is still our little man-- but as of his last appt, he was in the 25% for height now! whoohoo! Mason was in the 60%th!!
The worst thing that hit us this month was a horrible Flu. Anthony and I got extremely sick (vomit, dizziness, shills, "other-end", etc.) about the same time one night-- just hit us like a ton of bricks. We were sure it was food poisoning b/c we thought we knew exactly what it was about 8 hours earlier. Luckily, Mom and Randy were already int he Denver area-- and drove down to help us with the boys at about 10pm. Randy ended up taking us to the Emergency room b/c we were so sick-- and that is all that is open that time of night! The next day was a blur b/c we were so out of it-- but Anthony's mom and Grandma came down to relieve my parents-- so we really could not have survived that day without the help! Thank you all so much!!!! Turns out though-- later that night, Mason went completely exorcist on us and threww up everywhere!!! It was scary! Noah never ended up throwing up-- but he got the rest of it. Urgh-- so we were a wreck for a few days! Glad it is over to say the least.
I joined back the gym at the end of the month! It has an awesome huge kids play area/daycare, and I have the unlimited access for them-- so I can' take them as much as I want-- and I get time to myself-- and they get to play with other kids, etc.! It is great because I have really been struggling with keeping up with the boys by myself now-- and being able to do things with them with just one of me! They really are not content in a stroller anymore...and they want to explore-- but I can't "let them go" at places for kids (museum, library, parks, etc)-- because I can't keep my eye on both now that they are so mobile (and don't' really listen yet)! So-- I have really been trying to set up more playdates with friends around here, take advantage of when my mom or someone is here (and take the boys somewhere fun I can't do by myself!), and join the gym, and I've been looking into some other "parents day out" programs. Everything is just soooo expensive though!
anyway-- things are just moving right along in life--- always uncertainties, and always excitement! Until next time!
